Absolutely WOW! I am so impressed and thankful I found Buck Family Automotive. I have felt swindled in the past by other companies or felt like I was pressured to just agree to have certain things done. That was never the case with this company. 
My scenario: 2002 Toyota Camry had the check engine light on. In diagnotics Jeff noticed there was a crack in the gas cap - charged me (after approval) for the cap and nothing for labor to do the diagnostic. There was other stuff identified during a general courtesy check of other car items.
Best parts about this company:
- Respectful of CoVid: Came and picked up my car (offered within a certain radius), wore gloves, put down a plastic cover on the driver seat, wiped down keys before handing them back to me.
- AMAZING digital view allows you to track your car's progress and approve/decline any additional charges (actions and cost) through the view.
- Picture proof: Jeff always takes pictures of his findings and adds notes so you can see what he's seeing - again this is all in the digital view.
- Fair prices: as mentioned above, you get to see what the problem is and confirm or deny costs. It allows you to do your own research to confirm if the cost is worth it and fair. Even the things I declined were priced fairly, I just didn't feel the cost was worth it to me. 
- Personal feedback: what I always appreciate is someone who states "If it were my car, I would take the risk, but if you want it done right this is what we would do and how much it would cost" - such honesty is appreciated.
- Jeff, the owner, is the one that actually worked on my car. It's not often you get such amazing customer service from the owner of the company. I love going to family businesses. He has such a bright personality and not a hint of condescension.

I just have to say Jeff was really nice and professional. I'm actually from the east bay and I'm here with my friends to attend an event. Before we were about to head to cal expo, but then I realized my van wasn't able to start. I then called a tow truck to get it towed and we went through different  6 car shops before finding Jeff's place. Some were closed and some were able to start it on Monday but I needed the van to be fixed by the end of the weekend.
I was really stressing out because I felt like I had ruined our trip. Luckily, I came across Buck Family automotive and spoke to Jeff. He did an inspection to see what was wrong and I basically had to get a new starter. He told me the cost, the labor, and the time it will be finished. He was able to start on my van ASAP and fixed it in just 3 hours after we dropped it off.

I brought my Ford E-350 commercial cargo van here when my transmission went out, Jeffery is very polite and straight forward, he didn't charge me an arm and a leg, and he gave me frequent updates about the progress of my vehicle. I have since then brought my van back when my motor went out, and he did the same thing, got me back in my van, which I need for my job as an electrician, in a timely manner. I received an unlimited mile, 3 year warranty for my transmission and my engine. Don’t normally trust mechanics with my car since most try to rip me off, however I was pleasantly surprised at the level of quality and attention detail that Jeff puts into the work. Small details like walking through all the work he will do on the car and even a small coffee stand with snacks in the back really makes Buck family Automotive feel and look very "homie". I did research before coming to the shop; I was not overcharged on my A/C repair and even received a first time customer discount. Let me start by saying, "Wow!!!" I had a great experience at Buck Family Automotive.  To start, Jeff was accommodating to my schedule and gave me an appointment in the morning on a holiday (4th of July).  He was very thorough and informative with the inspection he performed on my car.  Not only did Jeff verbalize repairs I needed, but he took pictures so I could see for myself where the issues were with my car.  I was so impressed with this level of service.  I've never experienced this before and I've taken my car to dealerships for service as well as local repair shops.  In addition to all of the above, Jeff was honest and explained to me what the most pressing issue was and what could wait.  Words can't express how happy I was to finally find a repair shop that I can trust my vehicle will be well taken care of and I won't get ripped off in the process.  I will definitely be bringing my car back for future repairs.  I highly recommend bringing your cars to Buck Family Automotive! - Robin  via Yelp - 2012 Subaru Forester - Transmission Fluid Exchange - Brake Service

Brought in our Grand Cherokee due to overheating and they were able to diagnose and repair it at a very reasonable price.  It turned out to be the fan not working properly which was not an easy, or obvious, diagnosis.  We are appreciative of how they communicated what they found and what needed to be done.  The videos included in their email was a nice bonus. This is an awesome "mom and pop" type shop. I brought my van in to get the gear shift fixed and it was fixed in a very timely way. They have a great waiting area with 3 rooms ome with a table and coffee/tea and light snacks, a children's waiting area and a living room. I needed full brake replacements on my '13 Honda Pilot and Jeff did the job thoroughly and professionally. It was affordable (not the cheapest) but he warranties his work for 3 years, he kept me updating during the repair, and it fit well into my "recently graduated college" budget. And he didn't sell me any unnecessary items like so many shops do, especially to us girls!
